Do You Hear The People Sing?

We are very proud to present the international tour of Do You Hear The People Sing? – a concert celebrating the work of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schönberg, creators of Les Misérables and Miss Saigon.

This production premiered in November 2013 at Shanghai Grand Theatre, starring Michael Ball, Lea Salonga, David Harris, Amanda Harrison and Marie Zamora.

A special fundraising staging of this concert in Manila starring Lea Salonga, David Harris and Marie Zamora together with some of the Philippines most acclaimed performers, raised AU$770,000 to assist with the rebuilding of 240 homes devastated by Typhoon Yolanda through Habitat for Humanity Philippines.  In March 2014, Do You Hear The People Sing? premiered at the Taipei International Convention Centre, Taiwan.  Several other dates – including Australia and New Zealand – are currently in development.

This concert is the only orchestral presentation officially sanctioned (and created by) Boublil and Schönberg.  The concert is headlined by some of the most popular musical theatre stars in the world and features a full symphony orchestra and a 100-person choir.
