Biography
Enda was born in Dublin, Ireland and made his professional debut as a child in the Dylan Thomas play “A Child’s Christmas In Wales” at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin. At sixteen, he was awarded a scholarship to study musical theatre at Laine Theatre Arts in London.

Upon completion of his training, Enda appeared in numerous musical theatre productions including the role of Rick in both the London and Dublin productions of the smash hit musical A Slice Of Saturday Night and the Irish premiere of the Stephen Sondheim musical Follies in which he appeared with Lorna Luft, Millicent Martin, Dave Willetts and Mary Millar. Follies was followed by an appearance in Side By Side By Sondheim at the Temple Bar Music Centre in Dublin. At nineteen, Enda became the youngest person ever to star in a production of that show.

As a solo performer, Enda has headlined at theatres and festivals around the world. His Australian debut was in 2001, when he fell in love with the country. Since then he has travelled all around the country in his acclaimed solo shows, including: Return to Senda, Another Place and Time, By Popular Demand, Legends, Home Thoughts From Abroad, Butter Wouldn’t Melt, Live & Legless and One Night Stand. Enda became an Australian citizen in 2009.

Enda has appeared as part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. He has headlined during Sydney’s Mardi Gras on numerous occasions, as well as Hats Off at the Star City Showroom. Acting roles in Australia include The Mangina Monologues and the world premiere of Flying Solo, in which he co-starred with Noeline Brown and Paula Duncan, directed by Judy Nunn.
Television appearances include Good Morning Australia (Ten), Denise (Seven), Ireland AM (RTE), Scratch Saturday (RTE), The Entertainment Report (TV3) and Turner Around The World (Channel 4) and This Life (BBC).

Enda’s debut solo album was Another Place and Time (2001) which was followed by By Popular Demand (2002).
Enda is currently starring in Side By Side By Sondheim, which will tour Australia in 2012. He will star alongside Rachael Beck, Margi de Ferranti and Jessica Rowe.
